Where the human race officially comes from is unknown. The top scientists in the world have come up with different explanations trying to explain our existence. The first explanation being that we came from Adam and Eve. Now, I personally think that this belief is not true because God could have created a lot more people rather than just two. Adam and Eve could have been bacteria which is more likely, and they could have evolved to form the first Neanderthals. Another possibility is that the first humans came from Africa and migrated to other places.
While living in this world we are taught values and a religion in hopes to better mankind. Everybody acts differently and responds in different ways, this is what makes us unique. Religions are taught similar beliefs and have a somewhat universal message. For instance, the Ten Commandments are a set of rules that every one should attempt to follow. However, some people choose to follow their own rules and this causes corruption. I follow the Ten Commandments and choose to live my life and treat others the way I would want to be treated in return.
No matter how amazing your life may be, chances are that you had to suffer along the way. Suffering is a part of human failing or misunderstanding. Unfortunately, this feeling cannot be escaped. The key is to overcome this pain and to find salvation. Another view might be that the higher power is controlling population causing only the strongest to survive.
What enters the world, must eventually the world. I believe that what happens to you after you pass depends on what kind of life you led. I believe there is a heaven and a hell but either way you will be buried or burned. With this said, it's best to live life honestly and do good because each day is a blessing and you never know when you might die.

"Hello, my name is Evan I have traveled a long way to ask you three questions."
"Welcome, young traveler my name is the Guru Pitka."
"I am at your service Evan, but before you ask your questions you must ask yourself why do you want to know these things?"
Evan replied, "I need to understand the meaning of life and why are we here, and does my life have any meaning."
Guru Pitka takes a long look at the young man and says, "You seem mature beyond your young years and I will answer any questions that you ask."
Evan asks, "After we die do we get reincarnated?"
Guru Pitka responds, "Yes, your soul is always considered to be deathless, and it also is reborn all the time."
Guru Pitka adds, "After long periods of time the soul is mature and it is set free."
Evan replies, "Thank you Guru Pitka. My next question is what is karma?"
Guru Pitka answers, "Karma is a natural law in which your thoughts and actions have consequences."
Guru Pitka adds, "If we are good, good things will happen to us, but if we are bad evil will follow."
Evan replies, "My last question is did your Supreme God create the Universe, and where is he now?"
Guru Pitka tells Evan, "Throughout the Hindu world we have many names for our one Supreme Being."
Guru Pitka adds, "Our God lives in every soul, our God is always with us, and this gives us the hope and to do good in the world."
Evan says, "Thank you Guru Pitka, I have a better understanding of your wonderful religion."

Day 1
Meditating for five minutes was tougher than I expected. I tried to concentrate on my breathing, but I was having a difficult time just breathing normally. Things that normally don't bother me started to bother me. Nature began to be my worst enemy. After five minutes was up I realized I needed to just let go.

Day 2
My attitude for meditating today was to stay positive. My mind was clear and my eyes were closed. My breathing was natural and did not distract me. Unfortunately, I did become distracted when my cat rubbed her body against my back. Therefore, today's meditation was not successful.

Day 3
Today was the final day for meditating. I sat on the floor with the door closed. I thought to myself I can handle five minutes of silence. I was not hating sitting there nor was I enjoying it. I opened my eyes glanced at the clock and realized I was meditating for eight minutes. Apparently, my mind was clear and my breathing was normal. Since I am a beginner at meditating, I realized that I need silence in order to clear my thoughts. It's also irrelevant that distractions are my worst enemy. I can see over time how meditation can ease ones mind and allow them to become one with nature.

I am content with the original Ten Commandments because I feel if I alter any of them karma could come my way. God created these rules for everyone to follow and those who abide by the rules are worthy living with the Lord. However, I would add "Thou shall not alter their body with any body art. I made you perfect the way you are and to alter your skin is a sin." Also, "Thou shall respect the faith of others, even when they are not of the same belief. In other words, do not disrespect their commander in chief."

A good Samaritan is being helpful to someone in need during a crisis. It can be a life changing experience by helping a stranger. My family and I were visiting Florence, Italy. As we walked down the narrow streets enjoying our gelato, we heard a scream. This scream was from an American woman yelling "Stop thief, he stole my purse." My family stopped, turned around and a young gypsy was running towards us. My father and I without hesitating attacked the male gypsy. The thief was wearing a black leather jacket. I grabbed the right sleeve and my father grabbed the left sleeve as if we were in sync. We yanked the jacket off! This allowed the victims purse to fall on the cobblestone street. We called for the police and held the thief on the ground until they arrived. Apparently robbing is common over there because the police arrived within five minutes. The American lady was forever grateful and offered to buy us dinner that evening. However, my father exclaimed to the woman that we are thankful that she is not hurt and we felt it was our duty to help someone that has been taken advantage of. After the incident, my father told me that good Samaritans are not born but are raised. In relation to the good Samaritan parable the American woman can be considered the victim in the parable. My father and I can be considered the good Samaritan. Jesus would have done the same thing in my situation and probably would have taken it even further by instilling in the young man that robbing is a sin.

There is a misconception that Muslims support violence and terrorism. However, this is not true. The majority of Muslims suffer more from terrorism and violence than non-Muslims. American Muslims are more educated and culturally mixed than Muslims in Western Europe. Studies have shown that Americans are uncomfortable in accepting Muslims do to their religious beliefs and especially after 9/11. I have to be honest and say that I too am guilty of having a strong dislike towards them after 9/11 and ISIS. Our nation will always be filled with discrimination, but at the same time our country welcomes immigrants. In order to better our country we must be properly educated and realize that hate comes in all colors, shapes and sizes. To type cast one particular race is just being ignorant.
